PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

 The “HANG-OUTS” sessions begin with indoor/outdoor activities that promote social engagement, and exercise through games and competitions.  

 Towards the ending of our time together, the facilitators spend time discussing matters that impact their lives, and share tangible steps towards addressing their concerns, fears, or challenges that align with our Life Anchors and Suit Up Sessions  

"LIFE ANCHORS” guide our youth on how to nurture healthy relationships.  

The anchors encourage teens to: 

• Celebrate each other;
• Inspire others; and
• Be a light nurturer (loving on another in need).

  Character building is referred to as our 

“SUIT UP” sessions. 

The teens are required to role model real life situations and discuss how to advocate for themselves and others while nurturing those who negatively impact their well being.  

The" DEEP DIVES" involve the teens applying their knowledge from the "SUIT UP” sessions to real life situations.  "DEEP DIVES" also encourage our teens to develop and sustain healthy relationships with supporters of our program. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE allows the  teens to identify problems in their neighborhood, and determine ways to be the positive change that they want to see around them.

ANNUAL EVENTS such as our trips to Pure Terror, Paintball, and Campus Conferences or events like our camp outs and Award ceremony are many of the ways that the teens engage in planning and engaging with others in the community.
